RE: SamRohrer.org Grassroots Strategy
There are many ways in which you can get involved in Sam Rohrer’s campaign. Below you will find four areas that we will be pursuing over the next two months.
#1. Neighborhood Canvassing: Knock on doors and help win your neighborhood for Sam. Those we’re targeting are identified as strong republicans. We knock on doors every Saturday, but are able to provide you with lists should you want to knock other days as well. Each volunteer will be equipped with voters lists, a script, pens, clipboards, voter registrations, and literature on behalf of Sam. #2. Home Phone Banks: Come make calls online on behalf of Sam. Our web-based phone banking system will be up and running the weekend of the 24th. All volunteers will need is the online access and a phone. Everything is entered into the computer electronically. We will be calling targeted Republicans and a script will be provided online. We will also provide call sheets and a script for those who don’t have Internet access. #3. Event Coverage: Sam should have a presence at every event within each county. Targeted venues are marketplaces, bingo halls, parades, festivals, rummage sales, local sports events, church picnics, spaghetti dinners, sportsmen shows, and other events. Our goal is to have volunteers show up with Sam paraphernalia and educate voters on what Sam stands for. #4. Election Day Action Team: We’re identifying targeted precincts for voters to man on Election Day. Each targeted poll will be covered all day on Election Day. Volunteers will be equipped with all of the necessary materials that they may need to make sure the poll is covered on Election day.
